Have you seen a HDTV set-top box?
We've tried lots of locations to see if we can buy or order a HDTV set-top box, either a digital satellite type or one to work with the Freeview in London.
We tried a massive high-street retailer, Dixons XL. Upstairs there was a wide selection of large widescreen televisions, many of them HD-ready, but not a single one showing a HDTV picture.
The assistant was surprised to hear that the BBC has started a service, and said that Dixons did not sell HDTV set-top boxes.
In the Sony Centre I was told that Sony doesn't make HDTV boxes, and "probably won't make them", so again they had massive televisions with poor pictures.
The Panasonic shop - again stuffed with HDTV ready screens - said that I should buy one from Sky.
If you know where you can buy any sort of HDTV reception box, please post below.
